Membership Benefits

• Membership of the Australian Freediving Association gives you third party liability cover to undertake recreational and competitive freediving and spearfishing. Third party cover is vitally important for any active freedivers whether you limit your experience to a pool or regularly visit the open water because if your buddy gets into trouble and blames you, you will be insured, assuming that you have behaved appropriately. Unfortunately accidents do happen!
• You will become a member of a growing community of Australian freedivers.
• You will have access and contact with other freedivers who can help you out with training advice safety tips etc.
• Soon you will get a cool AFA Membership card (once we get them printed).

To become a member of the Australian Freediving Association, you will firstly need to complete the the membership application form.
